Shots crashed in their ears. Screams ricocheted in the air around them. The soldiers's footsteps pounded behind them getting closer and closer. Panic set in and their pace quickened aided by fear. In the distance howls were heard and the warrior cries of the _______ echoed over the treetops. The portal was just ahead, a silver mist glinting in the moonlight marked their destination. Nearly there _____ thought. Sensing their prey would escape the soldiers threw down their packs and sprinted after the girls. THe girls heard the heavy breaths o the soldiers and crazily dashed ahead, wild with fear. The cave loomed befor them. They pulled the arrow out and flew into the portal.
