so yes... our English teacher made us read A Midsummer Night's Dream... I had wanted to read that play for a while, since it's one of the best comedies around... but I ever thought it was going to be so.... HARD! and utterly random... Really... Shakespeare either lost his mind or he was really bored when he wrote this... but let me resume the scene I was to read in a nutshell.
Ok, let's use names for the real characters: Hermia - Shorty, Helena - Scaredy, Demetrius - Sissy, Lysander - p***y.
so it all starts out like this... Shorty loves p***y. Shorty likes Sissy. Sissy hates Scaredy. Scaredy and shorty are best friends. Scaredy loves Sissy. Sissy hates Scaredy. Suddenly the s**t hits the fan when a random Fairy puts love potion in Sissy and p***y's eyes....
and the tide turn like this: p***y and Sissy are suddenly in love with Scaredy. Scaredy is pissed off at Shorty. Shorty still loves p***y. p***y hates the s**t out of Shorty, and so does Sissy. Scaredy thinks Shorty is playing a joke on her. Everyone fights. The end.
Really weird huh?
