Now I sit upon the ground
a flower lying in my hand
all about me scattered petals.
A game I have seen so many times
my purpose different
from those I have seen
who play the game.
The wind it blows
a hundred petals dance away
dance away into the skies.
And I whisper
she sees me not
she sees me not...
And yet more petals dance
dance away into the sky
now I wonder is it true?
Will you see me
or will these last petals fall
fall away into the sky
never to be seen again...
