RPI was a blast all around. I didn't feel homesick once. Although there was a New Yorker girl and Californians who were real pains in the...derrier, I made a lot of friends. They were mostly Puerto Rican. One of my friends is a guy named Eli. He's from the Bronx. He's like my big brother! He made sure I was okay throughout the entire two weeks at the academy.
I did get "sick." (Ladies, you should know what I'm talking about. whee blaugh ) I tried to hide it as much as I could, but I must've looked really...really green in the gills. Eli kept asking "what's the matter?" and "why won't they let you go back to the dorms and rest?" He was a little offended that the TRAs (tutor residence assistant) made me stay throughout class without any medicine, but he was okay once we went back to the dorms and I got my medicine.
Of course, the director of the camp lied on me, saying I was whoring around because I had gone up and stood on the third floor (the guys floor) to tell them to shut up...at eleven at night...on a Wednesday. A TRA saw me coming down the stairs and reported it to the director all wrong. My mother and I are going to write a letter to the president of the campus about it, so it'll all be okay.
ANYways...my nephew was staying in Oklahoma when I left for New York, but he was preparing to leave for Texas when I came back. I miss him already! That little pain in the butt sure was fun to be around. Mom says we might not see him for at least two years. That means he'll be seven by the time we see him again!
YES! I can be lippy with him and he'll understand what I mean! ^-^;
I've bought more anime books from a new store...Books-A-Million. It ROCKS! I found books that wouldn't be known to other stores. They're really helpful. I'm drawing even better and I don't take three hours to draw one thing now.
Also, I'm figuring out the whole plot to my book "The Posse" in my head. I've written it down...it's easy to follow...I'm on my way!
But....time to work. I think I hear my boss coming in.
And for those I haven't talked to lately, I'm sorry. Really. I'm trying. I'll talk for a REALLY long time with you as soon as I get a chance. Promise.
