She did find out, but later rather than sooner. As it turns out, her evil twin brother Shaqueel had knocked her out with the bough of a tree. As soon as she could call her lawyer (which was several weeks) she told her what she suspected had happened. Her lawyer rushed over to the hospital (she was staying at The Hospital, which was located somewhere in Maryland) and brought the hospital release papers with her. In just hours, she was out of the hospital and in a court room, testifying against Shaqueel, her evil twin brother for attempted murder. She won the trial, but was far from a happy ending, as it were, because she was being hunted by a band of renegade sorcerers for no apparent reason, whatsoever. "Help!", she screamed as she spotted one of the evil-looking hooded men gliding towards her. She ran and ran and ran some more until she reached her house. As she stepped inside, the reason that she was being hunted became apparent. The blue orb that adorend her celing was glowing. It was the source of their magic, and they wanted it back. She put it outside on her doormat for them to collect. But, again, she was far, far away from a happy ending.
