ok, before i start ranting, IM NOT A HEALTH FREAK. just thought i would get that out of the way. my friend, who currently smokes, has recently started to cough up blood. this is one of the sighns of emphisema. emphisema is a disease when the avoli (air sacs that swap carbon dioxide in the blood for oxagen) begin to dissolve or collapse. she isnt an old woman. shes not in her thirties. she is 15 years old and may have an uncurable disease. some people would say that she diserves it for smoking, but she doesnt. she is nice and one of my best friends. cancer is also a word often associated with smoking. but its not just the lungs that can get cancer. the esophagus, mouth, larynx, pharinx, bronchi, bronchioles, and everywhere else the smoke even touches are cesseptable to cancer. if you have even made it this far into my little story, dont leave any negitive comments! go get pissed off and write your own journal and leave me out of it!
