"Evan, chill. It would be rude to walk away without asking his name, ehh?" I replied, trying to sound cool - Though everyone knows I'm not.
"Heh, that is true Linda. I'm Nickolaus. You can call me Nick, if you want." Nick said in an, almost, too mature way.
At that very moment, Evan grabbed my arm, mumbled a small 'bye' to Nick, and we raced out of there. "What the-?!" I said to Evan, tripping a bit as he pulled on my arm.
"Look, Linda, that guy is bad news." Evan said, staring at me, his violet eyes were hard now, not dancing as they always are.
"What? How do you know Evan?" I said, getting a bit scared of this new side of him. In the 17 years I've known him [my whole life] he had never turned this way on me.
"Because.." Evan scoped the area, then pulled me behind a dumpster, "He used to work for my dad, you know? As an agent. Well, he was caught stealing secret information and selling it. He got arrested, I heard from my dad he recently got our of jail."
"And HOW do you know it's him?" I asked him, with a hint of sarcasm.
"I can tell, he looks like him." Evan said, looking away from me.
"What if he changed Evan?! What if yuor wrong! What if-" I was cut off by Evan jumping on my, so he was on top of me.
"Shh." He said, emotionless, "He is looking for us, we have to find a way out of here."
"Evan-" I started to say but he cut me off by placing a hand over my mouth.
"Listen, Linda, whatever you do, don't say anything. Now follow me." Evan retorted.
"HEY! Linda! Wait up!" Nick called about five seconds after we got up.
