Today in Ramsey, Illinois snow fell for at least twelve hours last night. I woke up this morning and got the coffee going and went outside in a haltar top and shorts with my slippers, to check how much snow we got.
We had four inches of fresh fallen snow.
When I got back inside the coffee was only a third of the way done, so I decided to go back to bed with Ben. "Oh my god Ashely, why are you so cold?"
"We have four inches of snow out on the ground!"
"Well here baby. Instead of layng on top of the covers, get underneath them." Ben said while pulling the covers out from underneath me and then over me to make me warm, and then wrapping his arms around to scoot closer and whisper in my ear, "Now thats better, isn't it?"
I shuddered at the warmth of his breath up against my earlobe, I turned over to meet his gaze, and whispered, "Yes! I'm always better when I see your face."
"Well....." He pulled his hand out from underneath the covers and rubbed my face with his thumb and with his other finger cupped my chin, "This ithe only thing that helps me sleep at night."
"Thanks." I squirmed out of his grasp and said, "I'll be right back."
I walked into the kitchen grabbed the paper, two cups of straight black coffee, and two bagels with cream cheese, an placed them on a tray and quickly got up stairs to our bedroom.
"Mmmmm.....Somethin' smells good."
"Yes! It's our breakfeast in bed."
"You are the greatest!"
"Okay, enough of the flattery. Let's eat!"
"Can I give one more compliment?"
"NO!"
"To bad. I thankyou look so pretty in this light." He said. Then kissing my lips slowly, but aggresively.
"Sometimes you are hopeless."
"Let's eat!"
We finished our food and I set the tray on the floor and I set the tray on the floor and got snug under the covers and in Bens arms."Thankyou!" I whispered in his ear before he could say anything.
"For what?" He said confused.
"For everything."
"Yourwelcome. Ashley?"
"Yes."
"Will you go to the Bahamas with me?"
"Yes!"
"Let's go."
"Right now?"
"Yeah. Flight leaves in two hours."
"Holy s**t! Let's go."
We jumped out of bed and I started going for my suit cases, "No! Grab your makeup and hair stuff and let's go."
"Why?"
"Because I'm going to buy you a whole new wardrobe when we get there."
"Sweet!"
"Let's go!"
I went and grabbed my stuff, changed into sutiable cold weather clothes, locked the door, and got into the truck. "Put your seatbelt on."
"Can I scoot over first and then put my seatbelt on?" I asked. "Just drive."
I scooted over next to him, hooked y seatbelt, and snuggled between his arm and chest. "Asheley?"
"Yes?"
"Thankyou!"
"Yourwelcome.
"You didn't ask what for?" He asked very confused.
"I already know what for." I said before kissing his cheek and then snuggiling back into the spot that I was in before.
"Okay."
""Ben..." I whispered, "Please don't answer me now, but when we get on the plane. Okay?"
