Ok, so the Bush administration is now harming Alaska's potential wildlife.
They got around the protection acts and now are wanting to drill oil. I understand our economy is in a rundown right now, but it just pisses me off that they ignore the fact that many endangered species inhabit Alaska. Why the hell is this allowed? You would think Al Gore would be all over this, but it seems as though people are just turning their heads and are more concerned over the election or Lindsey Lohan getting preggo. This is insulting and I wish more people would see the damage that is being done. I cannot stress more the heaviness it brings down that without preservation of nature, its like a future Brave New World for those who have read it. It kills me to the idea that one day people will just not care at all anymore.

Personally, and I know this sounds drastic, but I think I may email PETA about this. PETA sometimes takes it a little too far but interest groups make a big difference in politics and enactments. Besides posting crap, there's not much else I can do but rally some people a bit, so PETA it is!
