Poem 1:
Your sparkling blue eyes, almost like the sky above,
the sky lacking the affection
shown by these amazing features.
Your voice is sensational, ringing constantly I my ears,
lingering only to remind me of your kind and gentle ways.
Your smile is warm, showing love to all things seen.
Your presence is what I long for every minute of the day.
But to my disappointment,
I can only dream of the time that we could be together.
I'd love to run my fingers through your silky blond hair
that flows ever so gently free,
delicately framing your fragile face that beams with joy.

Your humor delights me, it will obtain my attention always.
You act with concern for all creatures
and long to portray a positive message to all people.
I see your face only in school,
but long to reach out and touch you tender heart.
My mind secures a picture of you so that we will never be apart.
Through all the storms and seasons, you are the only one.
Constant, always caring, bright, shinning as the sun

Poem 2:
I look up at the stars,
and I see your face.
Imprinted in the heavens.
In everything I know,
you've left a trace.

I see your smile
in the morning light.
And I see your eyes twinkle
in the dusky fog of night.

When I look into the sky
I see your trancing stare.
I look around me,
and I see you everywhere.

When you kiss me
you taste my tears.
You run your fingers through my hair,
and you ease my fears.

My today is for you.
My tomorrows are for me.
I must seek a new love now,
you knew we'd never be.

As I close my eyes to sleep,
I know you're still the one.
You'll only find me now
on the dark side of the sun.

Poem 3:
The veiled clouds waifed ever so slowly through the starlit night.
A brilliant moon smiled down with a foreboding glee.
The crisp late winter chill echoed out for a new resolution to spring.
However, it was the seclusion from any and all kindred hearts
that brought us closest to nature’s soul,
a soul guiding us along a pathway to our predestined tryst.

Nestled under an erect fir, supported by a blanket of snow smoothed flat,
our bodies laid embrace,
intertwined like a bougainvillea bush
branching its way towards a midday sun.

We held our goblets up high
as we toasted to the beginning of a prodigious night,
savoring each wishful taste from the darkened, dream inducing Merlot.

We gazed into one another’s eyes,
and sensed each other’s thoughts the very first moment
our breathes braced as one.

Our lips touched ever so gently,
and our first kiss lingered
like an ancient time traveler’s ongoing pursuit
of the perfect universe.

Our bodies became one as we melted
into an eruption of cataclysmic bliss,
as the backdrop of a cold winter’s night cooled our dampened skins.

We reflected upon the moment at hand,
and agreed this was the gateway to the path less traveled.
A path that would soon be discovered.
