Years removed from my last loving you
And still,
I am eased by the memory of it all
When time was never set by a clock

How I could count the nights
When each, to a star
Danced in your eyes
How beautiful,
How bright I knew your smile
When the only thing I remember to outshine
Was the moon far above
Peeking with curiousity,
Yearning in itself
As if knowing in that moment
My heart was about to bleed with joy
At the mere thought
My hand might hold yours
And the sheer madness of your loving being
Would take mine as yours the same
Years removed
And I still find myself loving you as never before
