I just bought this journal...

I happened to go into town earlier today, during the first period. I needed new pens and notepads to keep track of things and thought it would be nice to keep a journal of the events happening at Bullworth, as of late.

Becoming the Captain of the Prefecture was nothing short of the greatest honour Doctor Crapplesnitch could've bestowed on me. It's my duty to assure that things on campus don't get too fargone and out of hand.

As of late, I've had my eyes on the Greasers. They've been making less time for the Preppies than usual. They seem to want to have a power-fight with the Jocks, and the Jocks are more than willing to settle their differences with the Nerds to see that fight happen. I've kept an extra prefect with me at the fountain lately, just to assure that if one of us has to deal with a fight, the other can maintain crowd control.

Mum sent a letter, this week. Apparently, she and father are somewhere in Bermuda, soaking up the sun. It's their useless attempt to keep a failing marriage together. Mum's always cared for me a great deal more than father, so I assume that, should they divorce, I'll be staying with Mum. I really hope they work things out, because I don't want to be thrown into any other schools.

I close this entry with simplistic thoughts, for now. I'm hoping that my home situation won't affect my life at the Academy. I'd prefer it to stay 'home' life.
