I went out to my old farm in Southold today. . .I started crying when I got home. It's all the same, and it's so beautiful. I just stood there for 3 minutes staring at the field imagining my mom and dad picking zennias, I was trying so hard not to cry there, and the second I got home I just broke down. They didn't cut down any of the trees i used to climb in, and the dining room and porch are exactly the same! Cherry tree is still right next to the house, and still the bark feels the same when you touch it. I wished I could see my old room, but I didn't want to entrude and ask to see upstairs because the women had to cut flowers. It was amazing though, and I got to go in the meadow which I never was allowed to do when I was little cause my mother was afraid I'd get ticks. Then my aunt took me to greenport where I'd laways used to go. And they have the best ice cream parlor there, I used to always get mint chocolete chip, and my aunt said they were always closed. I went today, and they were open! Everything has changed in the town though, it's sad. If I could have anything in the world right now, it would to be 5 again in Southold with everyone I love. Hahaha I'm crying now, damn I'm a wuss. We also stopped by the old arcade, the nick naque shop I always went to, and the old carosel. I came back with a kite from the best kite makers around, a rubber ducky, some black-bearries, and something to hang by the window that's glass that will make nice reflections. Also this lady came up to me and told me my necklace whorded off evil spirits. Eh,..I know there is no way we will ever get that farm back, but I'm never going to give up hope. As for now though,..kill bill is on, insents are lite, and I've got tea,...here's looking at you kid
