OMGWTFLOLBBQ!
Ian and Rae tripe.
[Yes. I am going to do this at 6:00am. So sue me. XD]

It had been a slow day in Barton Boutique; that is to say, slower than usual. Ever since Ian's unwarranted return, the few customers he'd seen were just fangirls, frothing at the mouth and blissfully taking pictures while he feigned ignorance and continued to greet them with a cheery smile. Once they left, Ian went back to the pose he found usual. The same one he was in now. The black-haired boy slumped over his counter, holding his chin in his hand while Rufus his cat wound lazily around his legs.

"You should get out, Ian." Rufus, who seldom chose to share his master, urged, hoping up on the empty space before him, "you've been cooped up in here ever since you came back. Besides, everyone knows Zhivago is dead. You've nothing to worry about."

"I--" Just as the gray eyed man was about to speak, the door to his shop creaked open, the bell above the top chiming pleasantly. He shot up, forcing a smile as he greeted the customer with a close-eyed smile. "Hello there." Ian said curtly, "what would you like to buy today?"

"Oh, uh...," the timidness of this customer's voice intrigued Ian, but he refrained from opening his eyes for now, keeping the grin plastered on. "... I'm looking for a replacement for this." There was a silence, and the shop-keep began to grasp that there would be no follow-up to this statement. On top of that, Rufus was earnestly nuzzling into his shirt, as though something of interest lay in front of him. Doing as everything seemed to command of him, Ian peeled back his lids and his smile dropped to something more like an awestruck daze.

Before him was a small woman, standing at a mere 5' 2". Her eyes were huge, and an off-red color he'd hardly ever seen. Placed securely atop her head was a pair of goggles, accompanied with a feather that seemed to resonate a strange, masculine energy. Working his way down her body, he noted a silver heart necklace, bustier and plum colored sleeves attached to nothing but her arms. On her legs was a short skirt, hardly covering anything. Of course, what he saw next was what made his stomach sink. A "heart string" was wrapped securely around her leg.

Ian was rather familiar with this item. Flynn had taken the time to introduce every item in her shop to her fellow entrepreneurs in hopes of attaining more customers, and this one was no exception. It was the symbol of romance and love. Obviously, she had a beau.

'Um, excuse me." The girl asserted herself in a slight voice, grabbing Ian's attention as she turned her head into her chest. He snapped back up to observe her hands, cradling a broken Natural Amethyst Oblong Bracelet. It appeared to have been burnt on a few of the beads, and one or two had been simply shattered. "Do you have a replacement?" At the end of her statement, she pulled up her head, giving him a lopsided smile. It was at that moment that Ian noticed the blush dusting her cheeks.

"S-sure." Ian stammered to get the single word out. He turned his back swiftly, taking a large gulp as he glanced nervously from side to side. Why did he feel so overwhelmed? Shaking now, he walked around his counter, grabbing a small ladder and plopping it under a huge shelf filled with stock. "I'm Ian." He said nervously as he took the first wobbly step onto the first rung, reaching up his hand to grab a small box.

"I know." The woman laughed and Ian might've fallen off the ladder if he hadn't pressed his body against the shelf for support, his head turned away from this mysterious lady to hide the blush that had overtaken his face. 'That laugh. It's like that tone was made specifically for her.'

"O-oh. Well, y-yes. I suppose it would make sense for you to know who I was." He started babbling, "because, in a way, I suppose I'm a celebrity, right? Aside from that I--" his tirade of sorts was interrupted as the girl attempted to retrieve the box, straining her hand to meet his.

"I'm in a hurry," she smiled, her eyebrows curled in pensively. "Perhaps we can chat later over dinner or something. I'm strained for time as of now, and I'd rather not get innocent bystanders dragged into this mess of things. Especially not you."

Now, Ian was confused. And more addicted than even the moment her first beheld her beauty. At that moment, something clicked in his mind.

"How... did you break that last bracelet?"

"All in due time." She laughed, handing him some gold and taking the box in return. "By the way, my name is Rae." With that, the girl rushed out and Ian fell to a sitting position, trying to catch his breath,
