Trip: finally over, finally home. pt1 (pt2 in other journal)
I got home yesterday(now 2 days ago since its past mid-night). I got up at ~7am after going to bed at ~1am(relitivly early considering how late I went to bed). I said bye to my 2 1/2 year old neice and me and my sis kept listening to When You Were Young by The Killers the entire way.
I fell asleep on the first plane for about 10 mins( I was listening to MP3 player and 2-3 songs went by). I was stuck in N.C. for about 2 hours, I was starving and I only had $1.54( for those of you who don't know: Airports have every product jacked up) after seeing that a small fry from B.K was just under $2 I though I would be hungry all day. Then I saw a regualr bag of M'n'Ms, best 1.50 I EVER spent(leaving me with 5cents).
Got on the 2nd and last plane, I rested my head and instantly fell asleep. I woke up as the plane was talking off and was afraid that I had missed my stop and was flying away from home gonk . I kept falling asleep for 10 mins so the flight seemed to take forever.( The one thing we flew over last time that told me I was home was an old "adult megaplex" that I used to live by, rofl I didnt know what it was till a few years ago).
I was so happy to walk out of the gates and see my dad. I got my stuff and walked out exactly when a thunder/rain storm struck( I luckly got between one leaving my sis and arriving)....
