Burning bridges is fun. Doing so without long term consequences is awesome.
On that note, I made up with not one but two-count-em-two ex-girlfriends today. The first one was my girlfriend for almost my whole time at high school, Sophmore year on. In fact, I still have her listed as my gf on my now defunct myspace account. I think I even mention her on my original account here too, come to think of it. Anyway, we broke up in a really messy way right after I moved to Hawai'i. She was going to go to college here, high school sweethearts, happily ever after... yadda yadda. She changed her mind. I got pissed. I said very nasty things. We deleted each others phone numbers.
Or so I thought...
So she text'd me out of the blue while I'm driving around, saying that she misses me and still hopes we could be friends. I said sure, we shot a few messages back and forth, and that was that. Never going to turn into anything, but I'll probably have an easy lay when I go home on leave, so net plus.
This inspired me to turn around and text another gal, this one is a local girl who lives in Waipahu. After I broke it off with the gal above, I pretty much went on a rebound craze. That led to this gal. She's cool in every way. Likes anime, works out and is a total freak for military guys. I mean she only dates military types. Bonus.
But we clashed in other areas. My friends in particular were an issue, as they unanimously decided that she was unworthy as soon as they ******** met her. Why? I have no clue. She is smoking hot. But anyway, we broke up in a heated fashion.
But now we're friends again too! Oorah!
