I'm being pulled into the merciless evil slimy pits of........HIGH SCHOOL!


I got BITCHED OUT yesterday by my teacher.

And it wasn't for any good reason. D: Made me mad.

Well in English class, because we're in honors, we had to fill out college applications. Not really to specific colleges, but to a place that will send you information about what colleges would be good for you based on what you said you're interested in.

So before we even started this, I just turned to the teacher and asked(I sit RIGHT next to her desk, so it was literally just turning to the side to talk to her) 'What if you're not going to college?'

Who knew seven words could start such a debate. Dear lord. My teacher just flips at me, and goes 'YOU'RE NOT GOING TO COLLEGE? What do you plan on doing with your life? Are you just throwing it away?' And note, I've only known this teacher for... eight days. Eight. Only about six hours, if you add it all up. And she's FLIPPING at me. So I just simply reply 'I'm going into the Army.'

Oh god. Just. SPAZZ. 'WHY WOULD YOU WASTE YOUR LIFE FIGHTING FOR SOMETHING SO POINTLESS?!?!?!' ... As pointless as freedom? Now, most of you on here, even if you haven't ever talked to me personally, know that saying something like that is just... bad. Well. I contained myself and just shrugged and let her rant. She ranted. For 24 minutes. 24. 24. 24 minutes. Not just privately to me, but preaching to the whole class.

I didn't even know that I had started anything. But she wouldn't drop it. Even as I was talking to everyone while filling out my sheet, she would bring up comments to me, when it was pretty clear I had wanted everyone to just drop it.

Dude. I swear I'm gonna get back at that teacher. She openly ridiculed my beliefs in front of a whole classroom of people who are mostly all my friends, and everyone was backing me up and everything. I just thought that It was just... terrible. I was just sitting there, being told that I was wrong. And that I was terrible. o.o I've never had a teacher do that to me.
