Blargh!

So, today, I was getting off the bus after school, at my stop. I told the bus driver "Thank you" (I usually say something nice to her because she's a nice lady and I appreciate her providing public transportation for us. C: ), and went to get off the bus, only.. something went horribly wrong with the way I was walking o-o Maybe I stepped wrong, or the weight of all my stuff was on one side and put me off balance, or the planets aligned, or a combination of all three. Whatever it was, for whatever reason, I stumbled and actually fell off the bus, landing and putting all weight on my left foot as I hit the cement. >< Then I fell over. It was horribly embarrassing! I could tell people were looking at me, but if they laughed, they had the grace to do it when they were out of my presence, which I'm quite thankful for XD

Anyway, it hurt really badly, and I tried to put weight on that foot, and found that I couldn't, which was scary. o-o So I sat down as the bus drove away, giving it time to settle or whatever before I walked home.
It was really sweet, though! This couple that also get off at my stop stayed with me for a few minutes, and both of them looked genuinely concerned. The boy asked me if I'd be alright to walk home by myself and the girl asked if I needed them to stay with me or something. I told them that I'd be alright, and thanked them, and after a bit, they went home. They were very nice to me! I got a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. I want to bring them cake or something. C:
After a little bit, I was able to put weight on my foot, so I walked the rest of the way home. It still hurt, and I limped a bit at first, but certainly not a big deal, so I was happy. ^^

Blegh, I look at it now, though, and it's all red and swollen D: The worst part is, I have to go to work at four. >> Hopefully it feels better by then. Ah well. These things happen. At least my cheeks aren't swollen anymore from getting my wisdom teeth removed on Friday! : D

Overall, it was a bigger blow to my pride than to my foot XD I think I'll take a little nap before work, none the less. >3<
