Life and death
Life, love, and hope can all be forgotten in a moment. What meant everything to you could mean nothing the next day. Friends are forgotten, left behind to wonder what happened between you. Love is lost, and hatred is formed. Religion, race, and sexuality set up barriers that should have never been formed in the first place. People say we are equal, but it does not seem that way. For the depressed, the lost, the unloved, the hated, the forgotten, and the people who dare to be different are forced into solitude and into little groups and are ignored and are discriminated against. People say life is so important, but to some its everything they don't want. Animals felled to human hands, politicians that lie to win, and terrible wars are all parts of the human way. Some find all this meaningless, and pray for death and peace.Peace everlasting. Maybe not heaven, not Hell, maybe not even Nirvana. Just peace. Peace and everlasting sleep. This pushes some to suicide. So yes, love is lost, friendships forgotten, hope abandoned, light forsaken. Yes there is racism, and prejudice. This is a part of human life. But is this a life worth living, when depression can set in so easily? When death seems like the only answer?
