Sry about the lateness, life and school have been crazy.
"Yes. Oh, right. You haven't noticed that you had this power yet."
"You mean being able to talk to animals?"
"Precisely. Well, that and being able to change into animals as well."
I paused for a second, but only a second. "Awesome!!!! That's so cool. But, Wait. How do you know about this Prissy?"
"Oh, a cat has her shining moments. Although, it was quite simple really. It's kind of like a sixth sense, if you will. Mia knows too, but I had to tell her though. She's still too young to acquire that sixth sense yet." Right at the moment, as if rehearsed, my dog Mia came into my room
"Good day everone! Come on, hurry, it's almost time to eat." She said excitedly with a clearly shown simle on her face. 'Hmmm, so this is why Mia's always this happy in the morning during the weekends.'
"*Sigh* When will she learn? Hey Mia, Nicole finally found out she can talk to us now."
"Really?" Mia said excitedly again. "Awesome. Hey Nicole, it's nice to know that I can talk to you, and we're able to understand each other." She walked towards my side of the bed so that I could see her. "By the way, your parents are right we are almost like sisters, except for the fact that I'm a dog and you're a human."
"Actually a half-ghost, half-human hybrid now, or halfa for short."
"Yeah, true." Mia agreed, "but no one else really knows that."
"Okay you two, enough with the small talk. We still need to talk about the new power." As Prissy said this, she was walking towards my side of the bed where Mia and I both were.
"Okay, but I want to ask a question that I've always wanted to ask you guys if I ever acquired this power." I responded in extreme entusiasm.
"Ugh, fine." Prissy replied with a slight hint of frustration.
"Ok, before I was able to do this, I always see you guys fighting. However, right now you seem fine with each other. So, do you guys really fight or what?"
"No we don't really actually fight." Mia replied with complete seriousness. "It's mainly because I want to hang out with Prissy because I get bored. However, she doesn't want to, considering she's older, and she doesn't like the fact that I'm in her bubble, so to speak."
"Yes, exactly, and I'd like to keep it that way if you don't mind!" Prissy exclaimed angrily.
I shut them out of my mind for a bit as they were arguing, because I was thinking of one random thing, Mia was being serious even if it was just a sec. 'I never thought that Mia had the ability to be serious. Who knew?'
"Nicole!!"
I shot back into the real world as my name was almost shouted over the intercom in my room, and it was my parents calling me for breakfast.
"Yeah?!" I replied back into the intercom.
"Breakfast is ready."
"K, I'll be fight up!" I got out of bed and headed to towards my bedroom door.
"Where do you think you're going, we aren't done talking?!" Prissy asked shrewdly.
"Um, going upstairs to eat breakfast. It won't take me long to eat. We can talk more after I'm done, k? I'll be back in a little bit."
"Fine."
"Yay, food!" Mia said happily as she headed upstairs. 'Wow Mia, you never change even after the fact that I can talk and understand you now.'
Just then, Prissy walked a few steps out of my room and said "Remember to not tell anyone about this, except for you halfa friends."
"No duh!" I replied with a smirk, while Mia ran upstairs ready to beg for food.
