Homecoming game tonight, and dance tomorrow. Over the years I’ve realized that this is an annual event of reflection for me. A great personal triumph. I was so self-conscious about it all. Greatest high + most embarrassing moment = sweet and sour.
What I smile about now and am most proud of was my skit for the assembly. This was my contribution to winning the ugly contest. A-(my partner) raised $150-the band rallied, I about $5-sure, a 17yr old girl wandering the halls with a tin can, a piece of paper taped to it, with writing declaring "donate $ for the most ugly couple contest”. Right-I was not aggressively hitting the pavement! I've never been gifted in solicitation). I did wear that button with pride all Sr. year on my Letterman jacket. I have never handled success well.

A- in an old housedress, (cross-dressing has always got a laugh) K-padded up to a size 50 men's jacket. We have a morning domestic dispute at B-fast. Husband-K eventually puts the cold oatmeal in wife's face. Wife pies hubby. I smelt like rotten eggs all day until I made it home to shower, even caught whifs of it when being crowned. Should have used cool whip instead of a whole can of Real whipping cream.
