God the last month or two has sucked big time. stressed My main problem is a big b***h of a storm called KATRINA!!! evil stressed stressed stressed evil I had to evacuate and got Arkansas. I had to go to school in the sticks. I mean they have nice people there but it is a totally different. No matter how much everyone was welcoming to me, I still felt out of place. I was away from hom about a month. I am not one to get home sick but it was starting to eat at me. I missed everyone I knew terribly. Your friends and people you consider family torn away from you in a mear weekend. And the worst part is there is absolutley nothing you can do. Everything you know turned upside down. The fear of not knowing.
I finally was able to come home. Luckly our home was fine and the most of the westbank was decent. I finally got to get some normalcy. I got to see one of my best friends and it made it feel like things were back to normal. But lil by lil I hear of friends and people I care about moving away. This hurricane seperated us across the country. Some will come back and some will move away. It absolutley kills me. Our school reopens Oct 3. And as the day of school staring gets closer I realize things will never be the same. People gone. Thrown about from the storm. Some will come back a lil each week but some will not come back. I want everyone back but I can't have that. Thanklfully no one I know has been killed by this storm and I thank god every day for it.
As that long month away from home passed I realized how much I loved the city that I lived in. My heart was left in Louisiana and New Orleans. No matter what people say we will rebuild and become better than what we were before. heart God Bless New Orleans!!! heart
