The hide Museum was closed on September 25,2005.
They couldn't keep the museum opened because of financial reasons.
The one reason why I wanted to go to Japan is now gone.

Today, we would like to thank you for your support and
announce that the hide museum will close on September 25th 2005.
We have come a longway since May 2nd 1998,
when hide began his journey to heaven.
The ones who have followed hide started the concept of "ROCK SPIRITS".
So many people shared the same feelings, and thanks to their support and
cooperation we were able to open the hide MUSEUM as a form of memorial
in hide's hometown of Yokosuka on August 20th 2000,
the place where the life of a true rock musician began.
During the first three years since it's opening,
everyone supported us by coming to show their last respects.
With your kindness, we have felt as if we
were a member of everyone's family.
This year, many people came to celebrate the
seventh anniversary of hide's death,
and we were able to feel the warm and great
feelings of everyone the was present.
We sincerely thank you for your support so far.
Although the hide museum will be closed, we beg you to continue living
happily in the name of hide's vision: his "ROCK SPIRITS".
In this way, he will live forever.
