I'm getting called out on my short story writing skills.
Today in CP English, we went over the basics of writing ahort stories when the teacher said we owuld have to write one, twoi kids said "Good! We are the short story writing kings!" I told them they paled in comparison to me and they said "Yeah right! You copy off of our stories!" This dispute, I assumed started back in eighth grade, we had to write journals, fiction or not was for us to decide. I of course went with non and wrote this story about animal type people and stuf like that. the main character lost his brother and all this other stuff. They read it becuase I let them and immediately accused me of stealing thier ideas. The only similarities were the use of magic, fantasy based, th main characters had struggles, and stuff like that. They practically pointed that out when they accused me of cheating by saying "You stole our story, only you changed the main charactrs anme race, abilities, personlity, the places in the book, the time period, and the struggles the main character goes through." It makes me mad, so I'm going to make a contest where everything will be far and there will be now way yo copy. They better be prepared to get pwned by the glomp master.
