A futile struggle
to see if you can bend
the twists of fate
to your favor.
A pointless game
in which rules get changed
to benefit another
that doesn’t even seem to exist.
A daily battle
where no one seems
to want to help you,
or does and yet won’t.
A constant war
when our opponents
badger us never-ending
until Death.
A futile emotion
to see if you can find
a way to make yourself
feel whole.
A pointless liaison
in which all things say
they will be better
but aren’t.
A daily suffering
where you think your life
will never end
until it does.
A constant thought
at the knowledge that
Life cannot live
without love.
