.. My baby bird has died. I rescued him not too long ago, and I did my best to help him. But apparently that didn't work too well.
He wasn't chirping this morning, which was odd, so I went to check on him. He just looked tired because he was still partially alert when I would pet him. So I got him up so I could give him a little water and food, but it seemed he was having trouble with breathing. I checked his throat for anything in it, I saw nothing. Gently eased some water into his throat to dislodge anything I couldn't see and I got no results.
I was going to take him to a vet, but the truck's in the shop and I had no way to get him there. So I called a friend, the only one I knew would be home during the day, but she wouldn't come until later. Why? Because she said it was probably nothing serious and that she was busy.. watching a movie.
I held him until his last moment atleast.. I just hope he finally learns to fly where ever he might be now. heart Do your best and fly, baby.
