as a little girl sits,
reading the bible that she had got,
she bealived what it said,
but did not understand,
that god died for us all,
but how did he if he lives for enternity,
she closes the bible and says,
mother what does this mean,
she points out the phrase,
as her mother sighs,
she picks up the bible and throws it into the fire,
the little girl stares up into her eyes,
tears start to come out of the side of her eyes,
and replys mother why,
her mother replys,
there is nothing more than god lies,
there is no point of reading it,
and it does not belong in our house,
she turns around and walks out,
leaving her child wondering what does god lie about,
it confused her,
she straind to understand,
but at a young age,
it was hard to understand difficult things like that,
the girl gets up,
and gets her coat and walks outside,
looking at the sky,
saying to herself,
it was just a book,
nothing more than that,
she walks down the street,
with the wind blowing hard,
it was the begining of winter,
walking past her friends without realizing it,
at the time,
she had to much on her mind,
she goes to the church,
and the pastor walks by,
and realizes that the little girl had something to say,
so he bends down next to her,
and puts his arm around her,
and says,
what is it little girl,
i know there something to be said,
the girl looks at the ground and says,
if God died for us all how does he live for enternity,
the pastor looks at her smiling and says,
God lives in us all,
he here forever and no matter if he died for us all,
he lives far greater than any men,
do understand what im saying,
she looks at the pastor and says,
yes but my mom says he lies,
she threw my bible in the fire,
and told us that he should stay out of our lives,
what did she mean,
the pastor looks at her and sighs,
there some people in the world that does not understand,
but i will tell you this,
i will give you a new bible and keep it save with all your might,
then read it every night,
and you will be safe no matter how frighten you might be,
so run along now and see,
who God is really must be.
