I wish I could say that I would make a way for both of us to meet (probably me going over to his country), and that both of us would speak the same language, and that both of us would be single, and that both of us would fall in love at first sight and live together happily ever after. However, if I had truly let myself fall in love with a person who could be male, female, twelve years old, thirty years old, etc. and totally unknown to me except for those things that he had told me, then I would honestly say that I would let my life continue, (get a job, possibly get married, etc.) but always keep him/(her?) close to my heart as a dear friend--something that could've been-- nothing more.

I'd put off the relationship right then and there.
My philosphy (OBG.) is as follow :

If you're gonna want to marry and live with the other, you might as well physically get to meet them. Sure, they may sound "fun" over the phone and even make you feel all "warm and fuzzy" inside via the internet. But that's a load of bull.

SO.

Ditch.

Oh yeah, another side issue : Trust.

You might as well be "falling in love" with a polygat. (ENGLISH VOCAB TERM!)
