I've been trying to write some even moderately decent poetry, but I just can't think straight. I seem to have forgotten my large-ish vocabulary range, and let's not even mention my grammar. Anyway, this was the best I could come up with while I was sitting in the pews at church. It kind of explains how I feel. lol!
[kind of short and to the point, not typically my style.]
"Stuck Inside"
Why is it so hard
To write down in ink
The emotions I feel
The thoughts that I think
I just might explode
If these words don't come out
I just might suffocate
And that is without a doubt
