after a week and 3 days i got power back. luckly it was cool most of the time so i didn't suffer that much. we also had a boil water order for the same amount of time. that is were we have to boil the water before drinking it. it only lasted a few hours thank god. but it moved so that the eye wall was over us the entire time. and that is the worst part of the strom. the winds were at +110 mph. we lucked out. a small tree broke and fell and our basket ball pole got bent so the rim is touching the floor. i'm surprised. it bent near the end of the strom. so it lasted a while in the wind. there were flooding all around my house. and FEMA was so preocupied with miami-dade country that in browared we barely got any water or ice. and even though we hit the hardest by the strom we never even got on the news. they showed miami-dade county with its few broken tree limbs in the street when we got whole trees toppled. oh well at least we got power now. but no cable unfrotunately. that entire line fell so it sucks. at least i can play my PS2 again.
