The last dragon’s fight
Version: 1.2
Plot: The word is at peace, well as peaceful as a world can be in the year 2009. United States is still launching their attack on Iran and Iraq in the name to wipe out terrorism, but with a new charismatic president who knows what influence he could have on the world today. Does this world sound familiar? It should because in this world, magic was wiped off the face of the earth by a group known only as the Unseen Hand centuries ago. Their holocaust on any and all magical users and being was absolute.. well almost absolute. Out of the darkness a hand full of magical creatures and users survived shielded by the divine magic of the oldest of all living dragons Ivelious. After centuries of living from the shadows, a strain of magical blood suddenly returned to the face of the earth. The Unseen Hand was quick to try and pounce but Ivelious in all his wisdom knew he had to fight. Sending the word out to those under his care, he challenged his people to take up arms once again to fight for the magic.
Current Events: None at the moment
Affiliations:
Newblood: An individual that seemed to have an awkward life but normally rather lucky individual. They don’t realize that they have the power to perform magic but if forced into a dangerous situation they can unknowingly use magic to defend themselves. This normally has disastrous results and can injure or even cause death to the user, as well as level an area around them to the ground. After proper training they can become quite good at use of magic.
Rogue Mage: An individual that know of their magic but isn’t part of the Unseen Hand or Dragon’s Fight. Most have a reason for not taking a side, but there is handful of rogue mages that simply have yet to decide who they wish to fight for. As a general rule most Rogue Mages don’t have the refined magic abilities of the Unseen Hand or Dragon’s Fight only because they don’t have access to the intense training requirement needed to fully master magic.
Unseen Hand: A religious group of paladins that started in the early first century to wipe out magic from the earth. They are headed by a man by the name of Roman. For years they have secretly ruled the world from the shadows, but the election of the newest president of the United States wasn’t planned and makes the group feel threatened. They use a special brand of magic called ‘Divine Slayer’ magic to fight against magical users. The organization has dwindled in numbers and is looking to recruit a few of the newbloods to help fight their bloody battle. Paladins of the Unseen Hand work solo most of the time receiving orders from the various Unseen Hand stations scattered around the globe and some even get orders or summons from Grand Arc the mysterious headquarters of the Unseen Hand.
Dragon’s Fight: The organization lead by Ivelious to save Newbloods and Rogue Mages. To qualify to join one must have a deep understanding of the non-magical world and a fairly good magical understanding. Ivelious doesn’t wish to stir up the norms; for he knows humans have a way of overacting towards things they don’t understand. Each agent of Dragon’s Fight has been told to be discreet in their magic using. When a situation does arise there is a special branch of Dragon’s Fight full of mind altering mages that wipe the memories of the norms involved. Dragon’s Fight ultimate goal is to slowly reintroduce magic back to the norm world. Normally agents of Dragon’s Fight come in pairs for its better odds against Unseen Hand Paladins.
Places of notice:
Dragon’s Cave: Ivelious’s home and the home for many magical creatures and beings. Cloaked by a thick fog of mind magic, its location has never once been discovered by anyone Ivelious doesn’t want to be there. The cave is huge and is a mammoth underground city that would rival some of the major cities on the planet. Some Newbloods and rogue seem to be drawn to its location by a tug in their heart. Dragon’s Cave is also the location of the headquarters of Dragon’s Fight.
The Grand Arc Cathedral: Roman’s headquarters and everything that happens in Unseen Hand is recorded here. Only after an Unseen Hand member has proved themselves to be loyal do they get summoned to Grand Arc via magical means for the final act of their membership to guild. This final act imbues the rites to wield Divine Slayer magic. Not much is known about Grand Arc even by the most well known members of Unseen Hand but it is rumored that located in the depths of Grand Arc is a great library that holds vast knowledge that could lead to the end of the world is such information was made public.
Terms:
Magic: It’s an ancient and mysterious power that only can be used by those of magical heritage. Theories about magic date back thousands of years and there are many theories. Some say magic was a gift from the gods; well others say that it was a mixing of blood between magical races that grew magic today. What ever happened magic was erased but those who still cared it in their lived and now that blood is starting to awaken. Magic is something not easy to control and it can take up to 10 years of training to master a specific type of magic. Averages run about 3 years with the proper teacher. Magic can manifest it’s self as basically: elemental powers, alchemy, illusion, or healing/living.
Magic Expulsion: An event caused by a Newblood expelling their magical power. Such an event can be felt by people of magical power from great distances away. When this happens normally the newblood doesn’t survive or is left severally wounded as the magic normally backfires on the newblood.
Divine Slayer: A type of magic was once forbidden due to the fact it’s considered a very evil magic. Its element is death it’s self and when used by skill master one only has to look at someone before they die. Most Unseen Hand paladins have a basic understanding of this magic but only a select group can harness its true power. Even unmastered ‘divine slayer’ is still a very dangerous magic, one should think twice before even thinking about going up against an Unseen Hand Paladin.
Norm: A slang term for non-magical people.
People of importance:
Roman: Immortal and leader of the Unseen Hand and the most feared mage in the world. Not much is known about him but his power is that of Ivelious the greatest of all living dragons.
Ivelious: A prismatic dragon or rainbow dragon. He is the only one who has gone toe to toe with the head paladin of the Unseen Hand and lived but the encounter left his body weak. Even with a weak body his magic is still strong and has been able to shield what he considers his children since the unseen hand appeared. He can’t leave the underground fortress Dragon’s Cave because of his condition.
President Kaim Redfield: The United State’s new charismatic leader, and a target for the Unseen Hand. Ivelious wants to keep him in power for some reason.
Common Magical Items:
Glamour Badge: A gadget used by both the Unseen Hand and Dragon’s Fight normally looks like a child play toy but to a Norm it appears as official badge to any respected government agency.
Glamour Pin: Used by Dragon’s fight as a means to disguise their non-human looking members to look like humans. This allows safe interaction between norms and magical beings. The pin looks like a small mirror and can be pin to any form of clothing.
Hyperdrive vehicle: A car that was modified by magical means to be able to transport anywhere in the world within seconds. The magic works off the norm concept of the GPS and once transported a small mind altering magical field is released allowing the vehicle to blend into traffic without any notice that the vehicle suddenly appeared. Unseen Hand and Dragon’s fight both use these types of vehicles. Some Hyperdrive vehicles can also include: Energy fields (protects from magic and non-magical damage), magic locomotion (Uses magic instead of gas), Underwater drive (Turns vehicle into a submarine), Wall Pass drive (Makes vehicle and everything in it incorporeal for a small period of time), and Tank mode (Turns vehicle into an offensive weapon, what weapon does is up to vehicle’s owner)
Magical Weapons: There is a verity of magical armaments in this world and most take the appearance of normal guns or weapons with slight runic markings on them. A few of the common magical upgrades a gun or weapon might have are but not limited to: Clip of unlimited ammo, Fireball bullets or fiery blade, Iceblast bullets or Icy blade, Lightning bullets or Thunder blade, Holy bullets or holy weapon, Returning weapon, Wounding slash, Increased Accuracy Scope, Homing, and Explosive ammo. For the purpose of this roleplay, each weapon a character has can have up to 2 magical properties. If you are confused about the weapon properties feel free to PM the mods and they’ll help you pick out some characteristics for your weapon.
Backpack of Holding: A backpack modified to fit more then it appears. Most packs can hold up to 300 pounds/30 cubic feet within them but the wearer only feels like they are wearing a 10 lbs. This item has been known to be customized to be bigger and hold more.
Eldron’s Cell Phone: A phone with an odd looking antenna. It had the ability to connect to any other phone regardless of weather conditions or distance. One has to simply think of the person and say the person’s name into the phone to dial. Also if the person being contacted doesn’t have a phone or cellphone the Eldron’s cell phone will dial the nearest phone to the individual. As a bonus the phone magically encrypts the conversation so that anyone who taps into the conversation only hears gibberish. Fabric of Style: A bolt of fine silky cloth that can wrap around a person’s body, on command the Fabric turns into any sort of outfit of excellent quality. Once taken off the clothing goes back to the normal bolt of fabric. The Fabric can change into different clothing after activated but it needs to be taken off and put on again and have the command word uttered.
Translator’s Earpiece: A tiny earpiece that fits into the ear and is hard to see. The earpiece lets the wearer speak and understand the language of any intelligent creature, whether it is a racial tongue or regional dialect. It doesn’t allow the wearer to understand or transcribe written foreign languages however.

Besides Roman (Don’t mess with him guys) and Ivelious no one can instantly kill off another player’s character without permission. If you do get in a fight with the Unseen Hand your character should walk away with some injury, there is a reason why they are scary. 6. Magic is hard to do, it takes years of training! I am not a grammar Nazi nor should anyone else be just try and read over your post before you post it. 12. Both organizations are very tight knit and know their members so have your character be moderately friendly with those from your same affiliation. Username: Kadington Character name: Lance Dracon Race: Half Dragon (Human and Ice Dragon parents) Affiliation: Dragon’s Fight Job: Agent Age: 136 (appears late twenties) Appearance: Full half dragon: http://www.enworld.org/Pozas/Portfolio/dragonborn_warlord.jpg Note add white wings to picture. Human: White business suit with long platinum blond hair, pale skin. Almost always seen wearing sunglasses due to the fact he can’t hide his draconic eyes with his magic. Magic: Ice and draconic magic. Ice is Lance’s natural element, and he can manipulate it as he pretty much sees fit. His draconic magic isn’t as powerful as his ice magic but still he understands the basics of it. Bio: Lance was born to Artemis the ice dragon who was a distant cousin of the great Ivelious. The war was at a standstill back then with neither side wanting to make a move. Lance’s father was killed in an Unseen Hand raid months before his birth. As such he never was very in tuned with his human side. He worked hard to prefect his ice magic under his mother’s watchful eye. Years later, his mother became one of the first to fight under the banner of Dragon’s Fight and ended up dying after a mission to collect intelligence on an European Unseen hand base. Lance understood his mother’s death and now fights under Ivelious to bring honor to his mother and to stop the Unseen Hand as much as any half dragon can.
