"You belong to me... yourself! Bend to your anger! Break to your will!"
The little voice in his head commanded him. His rage was intertwined with his being now. All the years of keeping it inside, only to be heard through the music, tore at him now. He felt the stares of everyone around him bore holes into his flesh, but when he looked not a single person was staring.
"Delve in your insanity! Break to your will!"
The voice shouted at him, but yet he remained solid, determined to hold on to what sanity he had left. The Dream would have to wait until he succeeded in his goals. With a heavy foot he proceeded to take one more step and then felt a violent force wrack his body, but it was only his mind. The body cannot live without the mind, or so it was said. Yet he could not stop. He was inches from his goal. In mere seconds it would all be over and he would be free. In mere seconds he would be free, or enveloped in the Dream. In mere seconds he was...

Kirin awoke form his sleep in a start. His dream was so vivid, even as he sat there staring at the black wall of his room. He saw her white wings and armor with the battle standard of them. The Angels. The angel was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen. Before now he never believed the stories that angels could seduce men by their looks alone, but now he believed. Of course the tales of what angels did to men were all very controversial. Some, like the churches, propose that the angels only did benevolent acts. Like saving villagers from an invasion or stopping highwaymen from robbing a poor couple on the road. Some would even go so far as to say angels resurrected men from the dead. Then there was the other side. The people who claimed to have been seduced and robbed by angels. Not that anyone could guess why an angel would need the currency of men. Kirin didn’t believe any of the stories. He would make his own judgments based on what he experienced in life, which so far was nothing.
