I've seen a lot in life, most people in this world have too. I've seen pain and sorrow, seen happiness and blis, seen death, seen birth, I see the good things in life along with the bad, I see the things that make us who we are.
I am not all good, hell I think there hasto be some darkness in all of us, but sometimes when we supress things they become bigger. A long time ago Drake Darkfire was borin in my mind, he was ment to be just the equivalent of Flame Knight. Drake was supposed to be the darker part of Flame that would keep the world in balance because you can never know what light is if you've never seen darkness nor can you know what happiness is without sadness. Drake ended up symbolizing much more than that.
I am just one person, one person completely lost in this world. In my short life I've already learned what pain is and what love is. Love isn't soo bad... It's the only thing that can raise a person into eternal happiness or break someone down to the darkest of depressions. Love is still something I have never mastered and have always been burned with... yet I still seem to search for it. Why would you search for something that burns you? I suppose life is an enigma, you search for that which can hurt.
Life is hard, its harsh, its long. If life is soo hard then why is it soo many people master it? Life isn't the hard thing, the hard thing is keeping your will to live. Each soul has a reason to get up in the morning, some do it for money, others for a chance at changing something, others for fame.... me? I still haven't figured out the reason I get up. In my life I have hardly lived.
I am an enigma to myself, I hide behind the title of a Lone Knight to become emotionless yet in the end I get attached. I cannot be a Lone Knight if I grow attached to those I help and I cannod live in the darkness as Drake does so I search for the common ground. Sometimes it's when you loose everything that you remember who you really are.
Now if you've gotten this far you're probably asking about the title, well it comes into play too. What do you fear? Most guys will tell you that they fear nothing, a lot of people will say death, others will just use the quote "There is nothing to fear but fear itself" in many variations but does anyone truly know what they fear? We all fear things no matter how much we deny it. We fear solitude no matter how much we pretend to crave it, we fear the darkness that hides within our hearts, we fear the unknown shadows that come with death, we fear ourselves and others like us, we fear... I fear one day I will die alone and no one will set a flower at my gave... When a soul passes away someone should remember. I fear most of all that I will one day be forgotten...
