Ok, so I really hate stereotypes. Not just races and stuff, but also labels like "Prep" "Jock" "Emo" "Goth". And I know some "emo" kids who hate it to. But they are a bunch of hypocritical beings.
First off, if you don't like 'em, don't use 'em. My friends that dress in the emo persuasion are all like, "they don't get me. they should get to know me before they judge me. oh, but i hate preps". I find that really stupid. If you want to get out of using those stereotypes, don't use them on other people.
Brake down the barriars. Ok, so I try and make friends with all kinds of people, and not try to conform to a group.
I know that stereotypes are what make up high school, but the bother the heck outta me. Especially hypocrites who whine about it and use them.
Ok, so I have been thinking and it really is impossible to avoid using stereotypes. But at least people should try to use them as little as possible. Oh, and also branch out to "other types" of people. They are really missing out on meeting some really great people.
