CHAPTER TWO
The Date (voiced through Jason)

As Leo walked into the bathroom to get ready for his date, he thought about what I would say, feel, think. He was not sure of anything, except he wanted to have fun tonight with Alec. He was brushing his teeth twice, and making sure his hair was poker straight. He had never been this worried about a date before. He remembered that he had to apply for a part time job and go enroll in summer school to finish his senior year. He heard a knock on the door and was scrambling around acting like fool. He was not ready yet, not even close.


"I would like to order the Filet Mignon, with a class of your finest Pinot Nior." Alec order, but in a non-demanding tone.
"And for you sweet cheeks" the waitress said as she gave a wink.
"I would like to order the Lobster Platter, and extra steemed veggies please." Leo never really demanded anything, but he always used please if he thought he was being demanding.
"Will do sweet cheeks!"
"So Leo, how old are you exactly?"
"I am Legal" he said with a huge laugh, "I am 18, so I still have to finish the second semester of senior year during summer school."
"Well I can help you get into the best summer program Cairns has to offer. You will have to get your old transcripts though."
"Why thank you."
"So what are you planning to do, you are here alone and the only person you know is me, so are you going to get a job, I mean, well you are gonna have to."
"Yeah I will, I am not sure where I wan to work yet. I know that I want to become a Marine Biologist, which luckily this is the place to do it."
"That's nice, I want to be an actor, but i am stuck being a Lawyer for now, lol."
"Well that is a nice career, why would you want to change it, I can easily see you being a great Lawyer."
It was not often Leo felt comfortable with other men, especially when they were older, handsome, bright, had a promising career, and were interested in him.

As the night went on, their talk became engrossing, no one brought them out of it, until the waitress returned with the check, she sat with them, and invited herself into the conversation.
"Hi sweets, whats up with the gay gods today?" She said that with love, but somehow it was misconstrued.
"Where the hell do you get off calling us gay, b***h!" Leo said, and immediately felt bad, but stood his ground.
"Woow, back down Tiger, This lioness is my girl, don't worry."
"Sorry, but i hate homophobes, they really get my goat."
"Well with those sayings, it is no surprise." Amelia said with a laugh.
They all sat and talked, had a great time, and ate some more on Amelia's dime. When it was over, they all went to Alec's house. ( I am so glad Leo found him, this will help him when he finds out that i truly am dead.) So when they got there, there was a package on Leo's door, marked with what seemed to be a really vibrant red pen.....
