First Entry
Alright, this is where I'll be posting the random rants and garbage that surfaces in my mind. Usually it will be about things that make me angry. This time, anime. In general I love Anime, the storyies, at least the good one, are fun and engaging, the conceptsare cool, and all in all they're a nice break from the usual western slap-stick fair. But there are some annoying ploys in Anime plots that drive me insane, like the sad ending. If I watch a show, I wanna see at least most of the main characters happy by the end of it. So, when the main character, say, goes through a bunch of garbage for others, only to be KILLED at the end of it, well you can understand my annoyance. That's in the same ilk as when, right before the end, the main dude's lover girl gets killed off. What the F***! I just watched the emotional rollercoaster from H***, and then they don't even get a happy ending. Who do I need to beat up to get them to stop doing that! It depresses me when all the characters I start to like DIE! Why is it that all the anime I like, always end with some S**** half-A**** garbage where no one is happy? Do I just gravitate toward depressing junk, is that it? Ah well, god help me, even if the ending tick me off, I'll keep watching 'em. Curse you Anime, for your addictive goodness!
