Trickster
He tells you one thing,
then another,
he tells you something right,
when it may be wrong, or it may be right,
but how can you know?
It's how he got his name,
the one they call him even if it isn't his true,
but what he tells you is in riddles,
it may be hard or easy,
but either way it'll be confusing,
confounding, undecipherable, until the last minuet,
when you need it most,
then you understand, but you can do nothing,
you feel angry, at him, yourself,
your mad that you weren’t able to figure it out sooner,
but you didn't,
maybe you couldn't, maybe you can't now,
but that's how he got his name,
from his cunningness, and hiss crafty ways,
that's why they call him the Trickster.
