First off, Sorry for the EMOness as of late. Just been feeling really depressed. 10 guesses as to why. and the first 9 don't count.
Secondly, On the Subject of EMO, that's one thing Motion City Soundtrack ain't. Of Course, no according to some anonymous ******** on iTunes.
I don't like being overly critical of other people's taste in music, but there's only so much I can take.
Personally, I think music is a kind of a personal thing, and that gennerally you shouldn't make judgments strictly on genre alone, but by a song-by-song or Artist-by-artist Basis. Not saying that genre based judgements can always be bad. (I'm a strong believer that Rap/Hip-hop suck out of control, as does Fall Out Boy) But it's kind of hard to make a judgement about a song based soley on what you can hear on iTUnes for free.
Motion City Soundtrack is a really good band. Out of 41 total reviews for Commit this to Memory, four of them wern't five-star ratings. Three of those that weren't were four-star. The other one was the idiot who called them EMO. if that many people are saying it's a good album, one should at least give it a chance before giving a bad rating because they went on tour with FOB. (I think)
Besides, there's no way you can beat Justin Pierre's hair. It's just Amazing.
