"Oh, V?" he pretended to ask in a sweet, and innocent tone, drawing out my nickname, as if we were merely playing hide-and-seek. "Come out, come out, wherever you are! Oh, come on, V!! I told you I'm sorry! I give up, alrightg?I'm sorrythat I hurt you!! I swear that it won't happen again!!!"
"Yeah, right...he always says that." I cowered in my hiding place, trying to curl myself into an even tighter ball. "Oh, no!! He's getting closer!! But, he shouldn't be able to find me h--"
"Oh, there you are...my baby girl...V." Gaybriele reached ddown to me, to pick me up. "Come on, baby. I'm sorry that I hurt you." I cowered down and away from his arms...which made the demon behind his eyes, come out and flash across his face. I cowered even more into my corner. He raised his hand, and as it came down, my world exploded in a burst of pain, and blackness.
