Okay so i have two rants that i am soo gonna do. i kno you're thinking "another rant, ********" los but imma do it anyways.
Since this is my most recent rant, i will talk about it first. I knew that the series "The Vampire Diaries" was coming out as a show. i wasn't planning on watching it because the series was pretty shitty. But just now i saw an in depth preview on the show. Not relating it to the book, it seemed really interesting. I might actually watch it. So far this is not a rant, so i will start that now. This series has a lot of little things that do not equal to the books. First off, the main character, Elena, is a blonde in the book. in the show, she's a brunette. She's the chick mia from degrassi. Anyways, that ******** annoys me. why can't they get something soo simple right. i mean how hard is it to find a blonde actress? The next thing i weird, is that it seems that Stefan lived in that town prior to the show or somehting like that. he was not "coming back home" in the book. He was from some place in Europe. There's also this thing with Stefan living with this guy who knows him, oh and Elena's parents died in the show. Her parents are alive, and she has a sister in the book. There were other things, but i can't think about them now.
My next rant has to do with my bullshit college classes. First there's english comp. We hav a research essay (i hate researching), and he wants us to get scholarly articles about our topic. Since that is not a very easy thing to come by on the web, he mentioned going to Hale library at K-state for their resources. Right when he said Manhattan, i was like "hell no". I'm not traveling 30 minutes for reseach that i don't even wanna do. Also i hav no way to get there cuz i'm not driving to manhattan by myself, and i don't kno where the library is. i'm not gonna get my folks to find it and take me there, cuz what are they gonna do while i'm researching. we don't live n Manhattan, and have no where to go there. ugh that ******** bullshit teacher.
Lastly there's Speech. We have to give a group informational speech. At first i was okay with it, because my nerves aren't as bad when i'm with a group. but as usual i'm grouped with people that are horrible partners. this one girl Nicolette is fine and is a pretty cool person. the other two chicks are ******** annoying, and they're pissing me off. our topic is paris, and our main points are history, architecture, and things to do. nicolette and one girl hav history. so when we show our information today, the girl says she did the eiffel tower. WTH? that is not paris history, that is architecture. when u talk about the history of paris, u talk about wars and s**t like that. but when i tell her this, the two girls dismiss me. Now the other girl is a rude a** b***h. all she does is complain, and not work. she doesn't listen to what anyone tells her, and she isn't focused at all. ugh i can't wait 'til this bull is over
