I just recently read a book called The Shack. If you haven't read it, you seriously should because it'll definitely make you think about your relationship with God. Here are a few lines that are from the book that really stuck out to me.
“You were created to be loved. So for you to live as if you were unloved is a limitation, not the other way around.”
“Living unloved is like clipping a bird’s wings and removing its ability to fly.”
“Love is not the limitation; love is the flying. God is love.”
“Jesus’ life was not meant to be an example to copy. Being His follower is not trying to ‘be like Jesus,’ it means for your independence to be killed. He came to give you life, real life, His life.”
“In some sense every parent does love their children, but some parents are too broken to love them well and others are barely able to love them at all.”
“Normal is a myth.”
Pick up The Shack and read it. Trust me, you will not regret it.
