Sometimes when I get hyper or have a really good day, I feel the need to listen to songs about death or instrumentals that just make you want to cry. I don't know why, but that's what seems to comfort me.
Right now it's:
'Nocturne' - Secret Garden
I think it's because I usually rest on varying degrees of happy and never feel upset, so I use the music to sober my feelings, maybe make my heart less emotional...I dunno.
On another note, I wrote a little prose, an opening for my new story. Here it is:
As he stared out from the ship's window, a cloud of noxious smoke covered the globe, altering it's appearance from blue to grey. He sighed, upset that he couldn't just go home and play video games like normal boys. What was his purpose now? His home was dead. Not just figuratively, but litterally as he felt the radiation reach part of the atmosphere around him. He looked at the woman? Girl? Alien? He wasn't sure anymore. As she fingered the controls busily she began to giggle in her childish laugh. "So, the prophecy's a fallacy. How many other things am I going to get wrong, Tyler?" Despite her giggles, her tone was harsh and unamused.
