the sun shone brightly as a light breeze carried in cool, crisp air. a large teen stretched out on a concrete ramp, the hood of his jacket pulled up over his eyes and his arms stretched out above him, basking in the quiet day. footsteps approached from the side, and someone sat next to him on the nearby steps. "so, what are you doing out here?" a familiar voice asked him. the boy smiled, responding "it was just a stupid idea." "what was it?" they asked. "hmph. the boy chuckled. "i wondered that if i came out here, would anyone care enough about me to come looking for me?" he said. "youre right." they said "that is a stupid idea." they both shared a laugh, then sat quietly, thinking. "but you did find me, didnt you?" the boy said softly. "you know, i guess i did." they responded. the boy smiled happily and stretched out next to his visitor. the sun was warm, the breeze was cool, and now, this moment was perfect.
