I try to sleep
I feel too distracted to dream
At least that what I think
I'm trying to breathe
As I toss and turn in my sleep
I have no more strength
The sweet lullaby you sing
Brings nightmares
It brings horror to my life
The memories come back to haunt me
I gasp for air as you sing
It's like you can't hear me
You continue your semi-sweet lullaby
And then suddnely I wake up
Out of breath
Relieved that it was a stupid dream
But knowing it will come back to me
