this one is on friendship.
Friend. It is a very common word. But what is the concept of this word that is so commonly used?If I know your name does that make us friends? Or if I could speak good about you does that make us friends. No. if I speak good but than turn and speak ill than i have broken your trust. I know many friends and most I will never call a friend. If a friend walks a dangerous path, what would you, as a true friend, do. Should anyone walk alone, along such dangerous paths? Or should you shadow him and try to guide him/her along their path? I think not though I do not know for certain. but I do know that there is a fine line between parents and friends. When that line is crossed the results are often disaterous. A parent who strives to make a true friend out of his or her child may well sacrifice authority, and though the parent may be comfertable with surrendering the dominent position,the unintentional result may be to steal the nessasary guidence and, more importantly, the sense of security the parent is supposed to impart. On the opposite side, a friend who takes the role of a parent forgets the most important ingrediant of friendship: respect.
For respect is the guiding principle of friendship, the lighthouse beacon that directs the course of any true friendship. And respect demands trust.

so trust in your friends and respect their decision.
