The Magnificent Life of Brian T. Wells
This is my story, readers, to anyone who wants to hear it.
The End
This is the end to Brian's story. I am in the mood to tell it, so if you want to wait for the rest, don't read it. It will mention characters you don't know, things you won't understand, events you never thought happened. But even with no knowledge of my life, I hope...no, I pray... I can effectively convey you the ending of my life in a land called Elysia.

It was on that day the the life of Brian T. Wells ended. It wasn't a violent, sudden death, as many before had been, but a death that was slowly drifted into, like a child falling asleep. Kevin, his adopted son, slept in his arms as Brian looked down at him, full of pride and sadness. Brian's beloved sword, Destiny, given to him by his first love, lay at their side; silently reckognizing that it's owner was finally going to rest. If the girl who gave that sword to Brian had still been alive, she would have felt his passing, and cried a silent cry, but she had passed away many years ago.

As he drifted into his eternal slumber, his life passed before his eyes. It wasn't much of a flash, though, it went by slowly, as if he was watching a play. This, he figured to the best of his ability, was a gift from the gods he had sold his soul to. He watched himself go on his adventures, he saw his friends in battle, he re experienced the joy and rush of releasing the magic within his body in various forms, the very magic that had made him a legend. Brian witnessed the year and a half he had spent with his first love, their fights, their games, their experiences. He watched a young Brian take her into his room and throw her onto the bed, two scared teenagers giving themselves to each other fully. He saw himself crying as she told him there wasn't another boy, that it was just too hard. He had a small, almost lifeless chuckle at himself when he refound out the truth behind her, the boy who shared his name, and the devastation he had felt. Everything was once again revealed.

As Brian finally passed away, he found himself in a barren field, walking a path he had walked many times. The world he was in was desolate, his ghostly white form blended with the empty land and cloud filled sky. He knew he was dead, and wondered if this was the final time, what he called "the end of everything." He assumed so, for he simply trudged forward in a dreamlike state, completely oblivious to everything but his own thoughts. For what may have been an eternity, or possibly five minutes, Brian walked alone.

"Brian," she said as she stepped into stride alongside of him.
"Rachel," he replied, snapping into consciousness. They strode forward, and Brian could do little but look at her. She was the age she had been at their second to last meeting, the tender age of 29. After that, Brian had stopped aging and she continued until the day of her death. Now, in death, they were equal once again. Her eyes had not met his, and no smile touched her lips. Her golden bangs moved in wind that wasn't there, her long hair fell onto her back.

"This is what you called the end of everything," she spoke, finally turning to look at Brian. The second their eyes locked, a smile formed on her face and they stopped walking and held each other. Brian's white skin and suit seemed to meld into her white robes, and once again they were one.
"I'm so old," he let out. "Rachel, I'm so tired."
"I know. Lets go somewhere only we know."
With those words, the two found themselves in front of the woods where they had met, and where they had seen each other each time since then. Taking Brian's hand, Rachel led him inside.

"I knew you'd give Kevin your Destiny," Brian's true love whispered as they walked through the forest. "I wish I could have met him in person."
"I hated to, but someone needs to take my name. Kevin is the only one unfortunate enough to get it," Brian said, once again wondering what Rachel's name was.
"Well, Mr. Wells, I would have loved to take your name," Rachel said, turning around and staring him in the face. They were in their sacred spot, right beside the fallen tree. If Brian had any breath, it would have been taken away.
"My name...We never knew each other's names," he stuttered. That was their most precious secret that kept them coming back, not knowing who they were.
"Of course I knew your name, Brian T. Wells," Rachel coyly spoke. "Everyone in the world knew it."
"No fair," he grinned, and drew her close to him, and kissing her on the lips. White lips touched pink, which soon grew into a passionate act. When they stopped, Brian held her at arm's length. "Then I think it's finally time you told me your name."

Rachel smiled and closed her eyes. She leaned up to Brian's ear, and whispered. Brian's eyes also closed, and as he heard her secret a smile formed on his lips, and tears that shouldn't appear for the dead welled in his eyes. She resumed standing normally and looked him in the face. He opened his eyes and was merely able to mutter "thats perfect"

It was then they made love for the second time, and when they were done, Brian felt very tired. He laid in her arms, his ghostly form intertwined with her precious pink body.
"This could be the end of everything," words came out of Brian's mouth, and circled them for a moment.
"I don't think so, my love," Rachel whispered, pushing Brian's silky white hair out of his eyes.
"For Brian T. Wells it is. For us, maybe no. For Kevin Wells, no."
"For Brian T. Wells' Destiny, there is much more story to be told."
"Let someone else tell it. I think it's time to sleep," the White Man said, and closed his eyes. His lover smiled, and kissed his forehead. She then closed her eyes, and they both

fell

asleep.

Right now, that's probably how it will all end. Now I just have to write the story. I hope you enjoyed, please leave me comments. heart

A job well done if I do say so myself. I quite enjoyed the ending. It was romantic, spine-tingling, and very very cute. Personally, I can't wait to read the rest of the story and wish you the best of luck on it. Hopefully your muse does not abandon you.

    heart heart heart
