Welcome Madmoiselle or Monsieur, I am Sebastian, your guide for these so few and far between posts of random ideas and the master and my roleplay. Please do enjoy and feel free to call on me if you are lost or confused.
Rise Of Sonneillon
Darkness...it had been the first thing to ever be in the world that we know. According to the humans there was darkness first on the newly created world, then light. If darkness had come first then why did humans fear it? Odd little creatures they were, I detested them with everything I was and could hope to be. They were only good for sustenance and entertainment. Even we demons could not predict the humans next movements and so we loved to watch them live out their meaningless existence. We were there to keep them in check, give the humans what they desired and in return we could damn their souls how we pleased. Some found it degrading while others loved the break it gave them from hell. Me? I could care less either way, a soul or two would wander along my path without me lifting a finger and those would satisfy me for a while so I was content to sit back and watch.

But of course all good things come to an end just like mine did when a particularly distressed voice reached my ears in the depths of hell. It was a child, merely twelve of age and already so desperate for whatever it was he was wanting and so I listened, yes dear old Sonneillon perked up at the sound of a childs voice.

"I summon you demon!" Not the way I would have chosen but it still seemed elegant none the less. I felt a small smirk creeping to my lips as the quiver of a soul tantalized my body, calling out for me to devour it. I steadied myself and stepped forward there would be plenty of time later to devour this strong morsel. Now was the time for formalities and a little relief from the boredom of darkness.

"Once one has rejected faith it is impossible for him to pass through the gates of heaven." The boy was small, for his age I suppose he was a bout the right size but he was still small compared to some of the demons I dealt with daily.

"Would someone who believed in god summon you?!" The reply, though the voice was soft and pained, was filled with a hatred even I respected and admired. A chuckle escaped me before I could think about stopping it and remaining professional. Really this boy was as unpredictable as the rest of the world.

"Then I will ask thee but once: Is it thy wish to form a contract?" Ah that seemed to spark some life into the hovering form. The bright blue eyes widened just slightly and the slim eyebrow twitched in annoyance.

"Enough! Form the contract and grant my wish!" The hatred seethed off of him and from his words while the darkness responded with an eager quiver around me. The form I'd chosen, a raven, was well suited to this darkness. It blended in with the background and left only a small shape of a bird with it's glowing red eyes so readily focused on the soul before me. The command sent the darkness on a frenzy, rushing in circles around the boy as it demanded to be let closer. The feathers ceased to fall in a mingle of white and black, a symbol of the boys purity and corruption, and rose from where they rested to return us to the world the boy had come from. If that was how he wanted it then I would oblige and assume a form much less startling. I traded my soft wings for arms, feathers for skin, beak for a normal human mouth, and claws for legs while the ravens crest furled out into soft black locks of hair.

This boy was going to be a handful and that assumption was without me even knowing who he was and the details of why he'd summoned me. Of course it would be pointless to ask so early on in the game, I was to act as his butler and body guard of that I was certain but to follow his every order was demeaning. A child? Sonneillon bow to you a mere inexperienced boy? Sure I was bored but not that bored right?

"What are you called?" The boys soft and distant voice drew me back to the world I was currently stationed in and I turned around to find him leaning against a tree, his face paler than what it had been back in hell. A few cautious steps and I was at his side, surveying the flipped pentagram glowing a soft purple hue in his right eye and then I knelt, scooping him up into my arms.

"I have many names amongst your kind, I wish not to use my real name here so give me one you see fitting." The body shivered at my touch and tensed as if it could recoil with such an act but the voice was still the same.

"Sebastian." What a short name. I glanced down at the boy who's gaze was diverted from me. He didn't seem scared out of his wits that I would hurt him (then again my job was to prevent harm from coming to him) and so I was content to let him look where he liked.

"Is it not customary to have a last name?" I asked, probing him with a smile. He seemed shocked by that at first and then that light too died from his eyes like all the other non-existant blazes had done before it. He stared at me long and hard as we walked on a path that I had no clue lead to anywhere before he spoke with an even softer slightly embarrassed tone.

"I can't think of a last name." How original, Sebastian 'I can't think of a last name'. Shaking my head I took my other name 'Michaelis' and offered it to him as if it were a delectable dish.

"I am also known as Michaelis, it would not seem strange if that were my last name would it?" He didn't react at all, that same frown he had been wearing since he summoned me was still plastered on his soft lips.

"Sebastian Michaelis is your new name. You are to be my butler and allow no harm to come to me at any cost. You officially accept?" His audacity delighted me and brought my hopes up for the human race. I chuckled and narrowed my eyes on the child in my arms.

"I accepted the second I put my mark on your right eye." My voice had grown unintentionally dark and seemed to shake the boy out of his confidence streak, the forementioned eyes widening considerably.

"What have you done to my eye?!" He snapped, touching the right side of his face. Nearby a pond splashed with the entrance of a frog and so I used that as a means of showing the boy what he would have to live with for the rest of his life. As I set him down he leaned over the waters smooth edge and stared, either horrified or entranced by the image staring back at him. After some time he stood and brushed his hands off on the blanket he had had draped over him from his trip to hell and wrapped the red fabric closer around his small fragile body.

"Where is it we are headed?" I asked, scooping him up once more and setting off down the path. He pointed to a place far off in the distance where a familiar glow ebbed out of the tree tops. Fire.

"There. Your first task is to rebuild the Phantomhive mansion the way it looked before the fire. I want you to make it an EXACT replica down to every single crack." My brow lifted then. He caught the look and smirked, making it a point to flash his new 'proof of purchase' seal.

"That should be a simple task for a demon like you." Despite my urge to wipe that grin off the childs face I calmed myself and nodded, flashing him a grin of my own.

"Yes my lord."
