I fell for the old misdirection ploy; act like you're targeting multiple people to hide your true target. The Civic Center was attacked, with Snow inside.
I arrived as soon as I heard the noise, a massive explosion of sound that echoed across the entire Nexus. What I found was a pile of rubble on the ground outside the Civic Center and an open wall where Snow White's office was.
Snow White was still inside.
She sustained massive internal injuries as well as extreme trauma to the head. Amadeus Cho was able to contact Brainiac 5, and she is in the best medical hands the Nexus has.
I returned the next day to inspect the scene. Of course, half a dozen amateur detectives have already picked through everything, moving valuable evidence and destroying any chance of picking up a scent, but there is still a lot to note:
-There's something severely wrong with the crime scene. If there was a bomb detonated in the room, all of the debris and rubble should have been blown outside of the room. If someone burst or, shall we say 'blew' the wall in, all of the rubble should be concentrated inside of the room.
It's in both places.
-There is one piece of rubble of interest, that has two equal-sized holes sheared through it. This piece of evidence tells me one thing - and I don't like it, not one bit. This is going to be hard for even me to take down.
- A fragment of a new, threatening note was found on Snow's desk. It read:

This is self-explanatory. Two of the Birds of Prey are captive.
-Snow White was holding on to an item when I dug her out. She had almost a death-grip on it. It was a black-ink pen. Going to have Brainiac 5 analyze it to see if the ink matches the threatening notes.
Trying to keep my head about me. As much as I'd like to just tear down everything in the Nexus right now, all of the evidence points to the fact that this would be completely pointless. I have to proceed with caution.
And there's something important I have to find.
