Lump of Red
As the light shines down,
Unknowing how,
The ices melts away,
Revealing something red,
Something I thought was dead.
This lump of red,
It confuses me greatly.
What is this red lump
That I haven't seen lately?
So warm and inviting,
This feeling is new,
Almost enticing.
The lump starts to heat.
I can feel it down to my feet.
This lump of red can tell me what I want.
No more feelings that taunt.
This lump of red can show me meaning,
Bring understanding.
This lump of red can show love.
