Anger
Running down the dark hallway
thoughts racing through your mind
the anger you feel
feels like an explosion from a volcano.
The red hot embers spewing all over.
Ash slowly raining down
covering the land.
Suddenly you see a glimmar of light
only for it to vanish.
Looking around you realize
your anger looks like lava
all orange and thick
running down the volcano sides
and destroying the house you love so much.
You start walking again.
The sweat dripping down your face
smells like the bon fires
your dad made when you were young.
The anger you feel inside
tastes like the burnt marshmellows
all brown and crunchy
but yet so warm and gooey.
Your anger sounds like
the voices from all your memories
flooding your mind.
Out of breath and exhausted
you come across a door
at the end of that dark hallway.
Un sure of what to do
you decide to open it.
As you step through the door
you see a lush green meadow
full of all kinds of wild flowers.
As you lay down in the soft grass
and gaze up at the
puffy white clouds in the sky
you realize all the anger you had
bottled up inside you, is gone.
